PARKING INFORMATION
Please read this guide carefully and review the attached photos thoroughly. There are several new rules this year—some may apply to you, others may not. While this may seem like a lot of information and could feel overwhelming, it’s designed to address every possible question you might have.
1. Track Opening Times
- The track opens on Thursday, October 16 at 8:00 AM for parking, setup, and racer parking. TNT (Test ‘n Tune) starts at 5:00 PM and runs until 10:00 PM. Gates officially close at 10:00 PM.
- The track opens on Friday, October 17 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. If you’re arriving late due to an unforeseen reason, email modmotormustangs@gmail.com or call Justin at 702-556-0211, and we’ll arrange after-hours entry. Do not abuse this—avoid showing up at 2:00 AM without prior coordination.
- Parking Prices
Prices are per weekend:
Spot Type | Description | Price |
---|---|---|
Yellow Front Row Large VIP Electrical Spots (Spots 1-9) | Large VIP with electrical access | $300 |

Green Small Non-Electrical Spots | 80 ft x 20 ft standard size | $75 |
- Purpose of Prepaying for Parking
- Reduces congestion at the gate by avoiding last-minute fights over limited spots.
- Allows friends or teams to arrive at different times while still securing adjacent assigned spots, ensuring groups can park together.
- This is not mandatory. You can arrive at the event without prepaying, and our parking attendants will assign you the first available free spot (likely on the other side of the track). However, parking next to friends is unlikely unless you arrive together.
- Spot Assignment Process
- Once your spot request is approved, you’ll receive an assigned number, which will be marked directly on the parking spot.
- This is not first-come, first-served. Follow the instructions below to request spots. Do not show up and freely park at ModNationals. More than likely, you’ll be parking in a pre-paid assigned spot if you do that.
- Electrical Spots
- If you had an electrical spot last year, it’s reserved for you until you fail to attend this year’s ModNationals. We prioritize loyalty and repeat racers.
- Spots are not transferable to friends or teammates if you can’t attend—you’ll lose the spot and be added to the waiting list for upcoming years. We encourage racing each year to retain your spot.
- To request a new electrical spot, send Justin Young or ModNationals a private message on Facebook or email modmotormustangs@gmail.com.
- Rules:
- One car and one tech card per spot (exceptions for large 120 ft spots OR stackers with multiple cars). Two trucks/two trailers can fit into a 120 ft spot if you want to pursue that.
- 30-amp electrical; bring appropriate cord (30-amp RV cords). Weather will be cool, so high-electrical A/C usage won’t be necessary.
- Campers are allowed only if a racing car is also in the spot (one tech card per spot). Camping as spectators is highly encouraged, but you won’t be prioritized for an electrical spot. We have plenty of grass and concrete throughout the event to camp at.
- If you don’t claim your spot when a message is reached out to you—the spot becomes open.
- Non-Electrical Large Spots (White and Orange)
- Rules:
- One car/truck and trailer per spot (unless using a stacker).
- If pitted next to teammates, you can coordinate parking creatively within your assigned spots.
- Small Spots (Green, Non-Electrical)
- You can add team members to your spot, but note that your location may shift slightly to accommodate everyone fairly and prevent smaller teams from being displaced.
- One car per spot.
- Approved teams can have up to 14 members. For 15+ members, prepare to split into two teams—we’ll try to park you adjacent if possible, but no guarantees for very large groups.
- Once assigned, orient your trailers, trucks, and rigs creatively within your spots (not limited to side-by-side parking). Arrive early to adjust without blocking traffic, and do not obstruct other spots.
- Camping is allowed in all racer spots. Buy an extra spot if room is tight for a camper and trailer.
- Team Management
- Choose a team name (e.g., “Team Panda”) to make tracking easier.
- If racing alone, reply: “I’m racing alone, 1 spot requested (1 green).”
- If you want a waiting list for an electrical spot or VIP non-electrical spot, reply: “Put me on the waiting list for [electrical spot or Purple VIP, etc.].”
- Payments
- Prepaying for parking is a major contribution to ModNationals—it fully funds our staff, ensuring a smooth, high-quality event.
- PayPal only (@modmotor / modmotormustangs@gmail.com). Do not send money until we assign your spot and confirm via reply. Send confirmation to Justin your paid with either a screen shot or write your names in the notes of PayPal.
- Recommend you designate a team captain to collect payments and send as one PayPal transaction but multiple payments is fine.
- Example Request: “Team Panda needs 10 spaces in General Parking (Green).”
- Name 1
- Name 2
- Name 3
