CLASS RULES
The S650 Shootout is a racing class specifically for the 7th generation of mustangs split into two classes. Competitors must choose one or the other and cannot enter both classes.
This must be identified at tech and if you happen to run quicker than 10.0 and you are in the street class, that run does not count towards qualifying.
CLASS RULES
ET Limit for STREET CLASS ONLY
In order to keep the Pro cars out of the “Street” class, we are making an ET Limit. The ET limit in street class is 10.00 with no breakout. You can run a 9.99 in qualifying, but it won’t be counted. You must have one pass in qualifying 10.0 or slower to qualify. During eliminations, In the event both cars run quicker than 10.0, the slowest of the two ETs will win. For example, a 9.99 will beat a 9.92.
Class Designation:
Class will qualify and be laddered based on elapsed time closest to index recorded in the qualifying sessions. All qualifiers must have a valid elapsed time recorded to be placed into eliminator competition. You must have one pass in qualifying 10.00 or slower to qualify.

Engine
Engine must be a GEN 4 5.0L found in the 2024-2026 Mustangs. Internal modifications are permitted
Transmission
Ford 10R80 10-Speed, Ford MT-82 and Tremec TR-3160 6-speeds are the ONLY permitted transmissions.
Electronics
Factory PCM is Required, NO Standalone or Piggy Backs. Transbrake and 2-Step Permitted
Cooling System
Any cooling system permitted. Intercooler tanks permitted under the hood and trunk only.
Exhaust
Any header size/tubing permitted. Open headers, down pipe permitted.
Fuel Delivery System
Any fuel system permitted

OEM
K-Members
Aftermarket K-Members permitted but must attach to the chassis using only the original factory OEM type mounting bolts in the factory mounting location. No part of the K-member may be permanently attached to the chassis.

OEM control arms required which must be attached in stock location.
Shocks/Struts/Springs
OEM or aftermarket shocks/struts/springs permitted. May use coil overs.
Suspension
Stock type suspension may utilize aftermarket, direct replacement type suspension components including aftermarket replacement shocks, springs, coil overs and/or control arms.
