Engine Diaper or Catch Pan is REQUIRED for 10.0 ET or quicker
The 2020+ GT500 Shootout is a racing class specifically for the new generation of GT500s equipped with the Tremec DCT Transmission, split into two classes. GT500 Pro is a heads-up class for GT500s quicker than 9.89. GT500 Street is a 10.00 Index class. Competitors must choose one or the other and cannot enter both classes.
ET Limit for STREET CLASS ONLY
In order to keep the Pro cars out of the “Street” class, we are making an ET Limit. The ET limit in street class is 10.00 with a .1 breakout. You can run a 9.89 in qualifying but it won’t be counted. You must have one pass in qualifying 9.90 or slower to qualify. In the event of a two 9.80s, the slower of the 9.80s will win. For example, a 9.89 will beat a 9.85.
