Race Format
- NHRA safety rules apply
- 1/4 mile racing
- Heads-up competition
- .400 Pro Tree
- Open qualifying for all competitors
- Maximum field size for eliminations is 32 vehicles
- Fastest qualifiers will advance to eliminations
- Pro ladder eliminations
- Courtesy staging is strongly enforced
- Final eliminations held on Sunday
Class Structure
Field split after qualifying:
- Positions 1–16 → Pro
- Positions 17–32 → Street
Class splits are determined solely by qualifying performance and are final once eliminations begin.
OFFICIAL CLASS RULES
Street Bracket
- Based on qualifying performance
- Breakout set at 0.10 seconds quicker than each competitor’s best qualifying pass
- Running quicker than the breakout during eliminations results in disqualification for that round
Eligibility and Verification
- Must be Ford-powered
- Valid registration required
- License plate required
- Proof of insurance required
- Must return from a pass under its own power
- Subject to verification at any time by event staff
- Failure to comply results in disqualification
Street Configuration
- Must retain a factory-based chassis and body structure
- Vehicle must be capable of returning from a pass under its own power
- Street equipment is not required beyond safety and class rules
Chassis and Body
- Must retain factory chassis including floorboard, firewall, and frame rails
- Frame rails may be modified forward of the strut tower
- Notching for clearance permitted
- Spare tire well may be removed and replaced with sheet metal
- Full tube chassis not permitted
- OEM steel or OEM-equivalent composite body required
- Aftermarket body panels permitted if factory appearing:
- Hood
- Front bumper
- Fenders
- Doors
- Rear deck lid
- One-piece front ends not permitted
Engine
- Any Ford engine configuration permitted
Cooling System
- Water only
- No coolant or additives permitted in any system
- Applies to engine cooling, intercoolers, and interchillers
- Coolant violations result in removal from the event
Exhaust
- Any header size and configuration permitted
- Open headers permitted
- Downpipes permitted
- Bumper or fender exit permitted
Fuel and Fuel System
- All fuel types permitted, including methanol, E85, race fuel, and gasoline
- Any fuel system permitted
- Any fuel location permitted
Power Adders
- Turbochargers permitted
- Superchargers permitted
- Nitrous permitted
- Turbo crossbolts required for all aftermarket or relocated turbo setups
Oiling System
- Wet sump permitted
- Dry sump permitted
- Engine diaper or catch pan required for vehicles running 9.99 or faster
- Catch pans must include:
- Minimum 2-inch lip
- Absorbent material
Drivetrain
- OEM or bolt-in 8.8 permitted
- OEM or bolt-in 9-inch permitted
- Any transmission permitted
Suspension
- Stock-type suspension required
- 3-link permitted
- OEM 4-link permitted (example: 1979–2004 Mustang)
- Panhard bar permitted
- Torque arm permitted
- Wishbone permitted
- Minitubs permitted
- Wheelie bars prohibited
K-Member
- Aftermarket K-members permitted
- Must mount in factory location
- Must use factory-style mounting points
- No permanent attachment to chassis permitted

Tires and Wheels
- Maximum tire size limited to:
- 28×10.5 slick
- 275 radial (based on sidewall designation)
- 28-inch overall tire height maximum
- Tire size verified by sidewall designation only
- 315 radials are not permitted
- Motorcycle tires are not permitted
- Spindle mount wheels are not permitted
Electronics
- Trans brake permitted
- 2-step permitted
- Aftermarket ECU permitted
- Throttle stops not permitted
- Automated reaction-time devices not permitted
Safety Equipment
- NHRA safety rules apply based on vehicle performance
- All required safety equipment must be present and compliant
- Parachute pin must be removed prior to staging on every pass
Lights
- Functional headlights required
- Functional brake lights required
- One headlight may be removed for induction
Windows
- OEM glass permitted
- Lexan permitted
Fluids and Track Containment
- Water only in all cooling systems
- No coolant or additives permitted
- Any vehicle leaking coolant or fluids onto the racing surface will be removed from competition
- Any vehicle causing excessive delay due to fluid leaks, mechanical failure, or cleanup may be removed from the event
Return from Pass
- Vehicles must return from a pass under their own power unless directed otherwise by track staff
- Failure to do so may result in disqualification or removal from the event
Staging and Readiness
- Vehicles must be ready to run when called
- Failure to report or stage in a timely manner may result in loss of the run or disqualification
- Courtesy staging is strongly enforced
Technical Inspection
- All vehicles are subject to inspection at any time during the event
- Failure to comply with inspection requests or verify compliance will result in disqualification
Conduct and Operation
- All participants must follow staff direction at all times
- Safe operation required in pits, staging lanes, and track areas
- Push vehicles permitted
- Push vehicles not allowed in staging lanes unless directed by staff
- Unsafe behavior or interference with event operations may result in removal
Competition Integrity
- Race officials reserve the right to review and address any action deemed to manipulate competition or qualifying performance
- All rulings are final
Final Authority
- All technical inspections, rule interpretations, and competition decisions are subject to final determination by the Race Director and technical staff
