You can only enter Pro OR Street, not both. Make sure you choose the right class at the gate and get tech’d for the right class!
ET Limit for STREET CLASS ONLY
In order to keep the Pro level cars (7 seconds) out of the “Street” class, we are making an ET Limit on all “Street” subclasses in All Blower, 6r80/10R80, and Driver Mod. The ET limit in street class is 8.50 with a .1 breakout. You can run a 8.39 in qualifying but it won’t be counted. You must have one pass in qualifying 8.40 or slower to qualify.
Class Description
Driver Mod Class is a racing class for all late-model modular based V8 overhead cam powered vehicles with a license plate and insurance and a H pattern MANUAL transmission. This is a heads up class.
Qualifying Information, Ladder Type & Tree
All run qualifying, NHRA Pro Ladder, .400 tree, 1/4 mile, courtesy stage (encouraged).
We will have two classes in Driver Mod Class: Pro and Street.
Class Rules
Open to all vehicles with a late-model modular based overhead-cam V8. Any modifications, vehicle weight or power adders permitted. Pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, etc. shifters are prohibited. Trans-brakes and 2-steps are ok.
Weight
Pro: No minimum weight
Street: No Minimum Weight
ENGINE
Engine must be a Modular 4.6/5.0/5.4/5.8 based V-8 Ford engine. Internal modifications are permitted.
COOLING SYSTEM
Pro: Any cooling system permitted. In cab intercooler tanks permitted along with under the hood and trunk.
Street: Radiator required. Any radiator, water pump and cooling fan/fans permitted; Cooling system must be contained inside the engine compartment. Intercooler ice tanks are allowed under hood and in the trunk only.
EXHAUST
Any header size/tubing permitted. Open headers, downpipe ok. Bumper/Fender exit ok.
FUEL-DELIVERY SYSTEM
OEM or aftermarket tank in trunk or stock location. Fuel cell in engine bay permitted (Pro only)
FUEL
Pro – All fuels permitted
Street – Unleaded or E85 only (One Ethanol, Ignite, or Similar). No E98.
TURBOCHARGERS
Any size turbocharger permitted. Twin turbos permitted.
SUPERCHARGERS
Any size supercharger allowed.
NITROUS
Any nitrous setup permitted.
OILING SYSTEM
Pro – Wet and dry sump permitted.
Street – OEM wet sump only.
INTAKE MANIFOLD
Pro – Air intake coolers and/or ice boxes allowed in passenger compartment.
Street – OEM style intake intercoolers or Air to Air intercoolers permitted. Ice tanks allowed in trunk or engine compartment only.
REAR END
OEM or Bolt in 8.8 or 9 inch
TRANSMISSION
Any clutch activated, H-pattern manual transmission permitted. Pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, etc. shifters are prohibited. 2-steps permitted.
K-MEMBERS
Aftermarket K-Members permitted, but must attach to the chassis using only the original factory OEM type mounting bolts in the factory mounting location. Motor plates ok. No part of the K-member may be permanently attached to the chassis. K-member may be modified in oil pan area to allow oil pan enlargement or removal.
CONTROL ARMS
OEM or tubular stock type control arms required which must be attached in stock location.
SHOCKS/STRUTS/SPRINGS
OEM or aftermarket shocks/struts/springs permitted. May use coil overs.
STOCK TYPE SUSPENSION
Stock type suspension may utilize aftermarket, direct replacement type suspension components including aftermarket replacement shocks, springs, coil overs and/or control arms. All stock type 3-link and 4- link suspensions must maintain stock lateral angles and attachment points, but may be moved up or down on rear axle. Aftermarket torque arms permitted.

FRAME
Stock, unaltered frame rails required. Sub-frames may be joined under car. If connector protrudes through floor, floor must be completely welded to connector. Stock front /rear sub-frames must remain stock, unaltered, and in stock location.
TIRES & WHEELS
29.5″ Tire or smaller permitted. No “W” slicks allowed.
WHEELS
Pro – Spindle mount wheels permitted
Street – Spindle mount wheels prohibited
INTERIOR
Pro – Dash can be aftermarket fiberglass, or carbon fiber as long as factory appearing. Passenger seats NOT required. If Kirkey or other Aluminum seat is added, it must be properly secured to a harness bar or cage. Aftermarket front seats are permitted. Rear seats may be removed.
Street – Must have a dash. Full carpet. Passenger seats required. Aftermarket front seats are permitted. Rear seats may be removed or have a rear seat delete. If Kirkey or other Aluminum seat is added, it must be properly secured to a harness bar or cage. If ballast is used, it must be secured to prevent movement in all directions (including roll overs). All of these items will be thoroughly check before each round.
BODY
Pro – OEM steel (fiberglass/composite if OEM equipped) body shell required. Aftermarket body parts are permitted as long as factory appearing and are limited to hoods, front bumper covers, fenders, doors, and rear deck lids. Hood is required. Any rear wing permitted.
Street – OEM steel shell required. Aftermarket parts are permitted as long as factory appearing. Hood are mandatory. Must have functional headlights and turn signals.
WINDSHIELD & WINDOWS
Pro – OEM glass or NHRA approved Lexan is required and must maintain a Ford OEM appearance. Optic Armor windows are ok. Braces allowed. If carbon fiber/fiberglass doors are used Lexan windows with supports allowed.
Street – Lexan front or rear glass permitted. Side glass needs to be OEM glass.
FIREWALL
Stock, unaltered firewall required.
ELECTRONICS
2 step, and aftermarket ECU permitted
